🚨 Important Announcement for Pet Owners! 🚨

Let's dive into the world of tick-borne diseases: Anaplasma, Ehrlichia, and Lyme. It's crucial to understand what these diseases are and the symptoms they can cause in our furry companions.

🔍 Anaplasma: This bacterial infection, transmitted by ticks, can lead to symptoms like fever, lethargy, joint pain, and decreased appetite in dogs.

🔍 Ehrlichia: Another tick-borne illness, Ehrlichia infects white blood cells and can manifest as fever, lethargy, loss of appetite, swollen lymph nodes, and in severe cases, bleeding disorders.

🔍 Lyme Disease: Caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi, transmitted through tick bites, Lyme disease can result in fever, lameness, joint swelling, lethargy, and decreased appetite.

Our clinic's heartworm test not only screens for heartworms but also includes these three tick-borne diseases: Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma. It's part of our commitment to keeping your pets healthy and protected!

Stay proactive by checking your pets for ticks regularly, especially during tick season, giving flea & tick prevention pills and consult with your veterinarian if you notice any concerning symptoms or if you have questions about tick-borne diseases.
