Physical Health - Exercise/Restoration/Food/Sleep/Hydration
Mental Health - Rest/Mindfulness/Self-Talk
Emotional Health - Processing emotions

I wanted to take a moment before all the hustle and bustle fully sets in to wish everyone a happy holiday season.

With all of the different things happening in our lives and in this world, I hope you find time to unwind and celebrate with the ones you love.

Also know that seasons carry specific energies and winter is calling for rest and rejuvenation. Say no to overwhelm. Find moments of quiet and solitude. Create space to feel your feels.

Reflect and begin your day-dreaminig/mind-mapping of how you want this next part of the seasonal cycle to unfold.

Raise your hand if you or someone you know has said “I can’t mediate because my mind is too busy.”

This is a very common sentiment about meditation because most people have not been taught how to quiet the chaotic mind. A still mind is the antidote to stress and unease. In today’s world of digesting large amounts of distractions and information all day long, if we don’t intentionally build practices that calm the waters we will live in that overstimulated state that leads to stress, illness and chaos.

This Saturday’s Virtual Yin Yoga (aka pillow yoga 😍) will offer an extra special treat. We will be combining the Universal Energy of Reiki with the gentle and restorative practice of Yin Yoga.

Yin helps to bring love and life to your mind through meditative breathing; to your body through long hold, deep stretches; and to your soul by hearing your souls wisdom over the constant chattiness of the mind, shhhhhh.

Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique that can be done from a distance. It enhances relaxation which allows your body to then do whatever it needs to restore and heal itself.

Stay in your jammies, gather pillows and blankets, make yourself a cup of tea, put on some mellow tunes (I will provide a playlist) and then just treat yoself to some self care. ⁣

Showing up for yourself, brings results in 10-fold. Not only do you deserve this, but the positive healing vibes will spread out from you to those you encounter, like a loving wave rippling out. Self care is not selfish, it can be an act of service.
