Congratulations to Beverley Simmons, our newest Employee of the Quarter!

Beverley has brought dedication, enthusiasm, and diligence to our clinical team since joining Griffin Concierge Medical in March 2025. With 15 years of experience as a medical assistant, she seamlessly balances assisting physicians during patient visits and performing lab draws when needed. Beverley especially enjoys spending time with our members in an unrushed, personal setting and goes above and beyond to support them in any way she can. Growing up in a family of healthcare professionals, Beverley has always felt drawn to caring for others. She also played soccer through college and was always the first one to attend to anyone injured.

Originally from Mississippi, Beverley still cheers on the Ole Miss football team. She is also a self-professed fanatic of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Outside the office, Beverley enjoys watching tennis and playing pickleball and golf.

Every quarter our team gets together for our State of the Company meeting, so we can continue to grow, align, and improve the care we deliver. Following these meetings, we participate in a team engagement event, and this time we took to the lanes🎳for a little friendly competition. In the end, Dr. Nobles was the winner🏆but Amber didn't make it easy for him!

What a wonderful Grand Opening Celebration we had yesterday at our new St. Pete office! Though we've been welcoming patients here for a few months, we wanted to make it official with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and celebrate with our members, prospective members, colleagues, and community. Here's to providing great care to our patients for many years to come!

We're excited to introduce you to Dr. Mike Garrison, who joined the Griffin physician team last month! Dr. Garrison is accepting new patients in our South Tampa office.

Dr. Garrison is a board-certified family medicine physician with a passion for preventive and lifestyle medicine. He earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at MUSC Health at Tidelands in South Carolina.

Dr. Garrison’s approach is prevention first, and he strives to build personal, long-term relationships with his patients. He was drawn to medical school after playing football in high school and college, where he experienced a high level of care following sports-related injuries. He is passionate about helping others and guiding his patients to live to their fullest potential.

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Garrison relocated to Tampa following his residency. He enjoys spending time outdoors and recently took up wakeboarding and surfing.

Meet Khadija McNitt, MSN, RN, OCN, our dedicated Director of Member Experience at Griffin Concierge Medical! With more than 16 years of experience in clinical administration and operations, most recently at TGH Cancer Institute and Moffitt Cancer Center, Khadija leads our team in the proactive and seamless delivery of services to ensure an elevated member experience. Khadija started her career in banking but followed her passion for exceptional patient care, earning her nursing degree and master’s in nursing leadership and management. At Griffin, Khadija fosters strong relationships with our members and supports the Griffin team so they can provide the best care possible.

Originally from Morocco, Khadija first came to the US as part of Disney’s college exchange program. In addition to English, she is fluent in Arabic and French. One of Khadija’s biggest joys outside the office is family movie night with her husband and son.
