Our 10,000 Members are the men and women who work in the Meat, Deli & Seafood departments of Union stores across LI & NYC and are predominantly in the Retail and Wholesale Food Service, Distribution, Delivery, and Healthcare Industries. Together we are one of the largest and most active unions in the NY and Long Island area.

Local 342 ends Making Strides Against Breast Cancer UNION STRONG!

Thank you to all of our members who attended yesterday’s walk in Staten Island.

The day was filled with great weather, friends and family coming together to walk and fight to find a cure!

You never know when and where the Local 342 Union Reps will pop-up!

Local 342 reps not only stay busy helping members in their shops, offices, and work places, they also hit the streets to remind employers that we will fight for what is fair and best for all of our members.

Today, Union reps were out leafletting Trade Fair Stores to spread the word about fair pay and to demand a fair contract for the members in the Meat Deptartment !
