The WGCA brings together individual and organizations to provide on-the-ground
solutions and care to women who need it the most. The WGCA shares a deep
concern with others for women with gender specific cancer and allied health needs. Together, the WGCA links global global strategies with local care , prevention
and adopting language , culture and political concepts. The focus is on recognizing
a need raising an awareness, detecting and treating early.

Our Story

WGCA is changing the lives of women struggling with preventable cancer against seemingly impossible odds of geographic and economic barriers.

Currently, WGCA operates a cancer screening and treatment clinic in Gonaives, Haiti. Our medical team screens women for cervical cancer. Those needing treatment have received the surgical and follow up care each requires to heal.

The clinic has screened more than 2,000 women for cervical cancer, one of the most preventable, yet often fatal, diseases in Haiti.
