This is what inspiring the next generation looks like. 💛💙

At Tareen Dermatology, we believe representation matters and we are committed to empowering minority youth to pursue careers in STEM and healthcare.

After a full day of caring for patients, three of my incredible colleagues — Kelley, Eva, and Aman — volunteered at a University of Minnesota event dedicated to supporting minority college students exploring futures in medicine.

Their generosity, mentorship, and heart remind me why I’m so proud of our team.

And a special moment for me personally: my oldest son Kashif joined us as he begins his own college journey. Watching him see what service looks like in action was everything.

Here’s to lifting as we climb… and helping the next generation see themselves in healthcare. 💛✨

This November, we’re proud to support The Open Door Pantry through our annual Tareen Dermatology Food Drive ❤️🥫

Food insecurity is rising one donation can make a meaningful impact for a local family in need.

Throughout the month, all nine Tareen Dermatology clinics will have donation boxes in our lobby waiting areas for patients and staff to drop off non-perishable food items.

Happy National Nurse Practitioner Week! 💙🩺

We’re celebrating our incredible NPs, Lisa Grover and Gina Fick, two compassionate, highly skilled providers who bring exceptional care, dedication, and heart to every patient they see.

Lisa is a board-certified FNP with a strong background in dermatology and trauma/neuro ICU care. She holds her DNP from The College of St. Scholastica and is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal skin health through personalized education and preventative strategies with the goal of building lasting patient relationships. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading at the cabin, traveling, and spending time with her husband and family.

Gina is a board-certified NP with an undergraduate degree in Biology from Harvard College, followed by a post-baccalaureate Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from The College of Saint Scholastica. She completed the Tareen Dermatology Gap Year Program before pursuing her DNP. Now thrilled to return to Tareen Dermatology, Gina is passionate about providing comprehensive dermatologic care and is dedicated to building trusting, long-term relationships with her patients. Outside the clinic, she loves hockey, hiking, lake days, and adventures with family and friends.

Their expertise, kindness, and commitment to patient education make a true impact every single day. We’re grateful for all they do for our patients and our team at Tareen Dermatology!
