It was that passion that led him to become a chiropractor. Dr. DeVreugd understands that the body has the power to heal itself when it is free from interference. Dr. DeVreugd pays special attention to the needs and dreams of the patient that is suffering and makes it his goal to help the patient reach them. In 2007, he graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in H
uman Biology with a special emphasis on eukaryotic cell biology. He continued his education at National University of Health Sciences near Chicago. In 2011, he graduated Summa Cum Laude and as Salutatorian of his class, receiving a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He completed a clinical internship at the National University of Health Sciences Whole Health Center in Pinellas Park, Florida. After he graduated from National, he practiced near Detroit for a year. After a great first year of practice, an incredible opportunity arose that allowed him to practice close to where he was born and raised. Dr. DeVreugd is thrilled to open Almond Leaf Chiropractic in Rockford and eager to serve the greater Grand Rapids area. Dr. DeVreugd is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors and the American Chiropractic Association. Outside of the office, Dr. DeVreugd enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
