Gave a presentation today at Sacred Heart at Monastery Lake Senior Residence and although only a handful of residents attended, they seemed to enjoy learning about genealogy resources they have at their fingertips. I was even able to help one lady locate her grandparents' detailed obituaries and their final resting place. Looking forward to doing more such presentations!

Day 1 of Rootstech 2025 (genealogy conference) is nearly in the books. I attended virtually, but learned something new in the first 5 minutes! Looking forward to Day 2.

I visited Union Cemetery in Milwaukee (which is not in the best part of town), but I was on a mission to find my maternal grandparents' graves and others ... Mostly struck out on the others which are unfortunately lost to time.

I recently spent a few hours in Mount Peace Cemetery in Saint Cloud, FL. Met a man who was there on his daily visit to his wife's grave. They were married 64 years and she passed only 3 months ago. He showed me picture of her and said, "Isn't she beautiful?" ❤️
