Statistics show that 85% of all dieters go on to regain all their weight and sometimes more after two years! Our lifestyle program starts with weight loss but doesn't end there. Creating sustainability begins with daily choices which then become daily habits and having a coach every step of the way makes the journey a joy!

You know sometimes only a crunchy snack will do but if you are watching your waistline; you know there is no such thing as a healthy potato chip! Loaded with carbs, fat and salt you cannot eat just one! However, you can satisfy that crunch with Baked Zucchini Chips and still like yourself in the morning! 😉

For whatever reason, flank steak is my fav so this caught my eye! Happy grilling!

Ingredients:

5 oz. grilled flank steak (tenderized ) – 1 lean
1 1/2 cups romaine lettuce- 1 1/2 greens
2.63 oz. cherry tomatoes- 1 green
2 Tablespoons reduced fat blue cheese crumbles- -1 condiment
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar- 2 condiments
1/4 cup green onions -1/2 green

Directions:

Toss 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar in a bowl with your lettuce and tomatoes. Place on your plate. Add your cooked sliced steak and your crumbled blue cheese. Drizzle with your remaining 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar.

1 serving; each serving provides 1 lean, 3 greens, 3 condiments

I did not know this was a "thing" until I dove in with both feet a few years ago! I have always loved to learn but never applied it to improving myself mentally, only physically and what a change I have experienced! The side effects; liking myself better, more self confidence and a willingness to try new things...have you started your growth journey yet? PS: haven't tackled a goal so big but just a marathon of little ones!) ;)

Here we are at the start of the work week, maybe you are looking forward to the week or maybe not. Maybe you have health, family or financial worries that the world does not know about and you keep pushing on. But I encourage you to set boundaries, learn to say "no" and find snippets of time where you can shut the world out...listen to music, a podcast, a book or the birds but don't put YOU in last place. You cannot pour from an empty vessel. ❤

Yikes! "Loneliness is associated with an increased risk of heart disease, depression, and cognitive decline. Social isolation in seniors raises the risk for chronic health conditions, dementia, and early mortality and the detrimental effects have only grown more widespread in recent years." And then along came Covid! 😬. Do you regularly meet up with friends, do volunteer work, attend church or similar faith community, play pickleball or go to the gym or swim, belong to a charitable organization, common interest group or check on your neighbors? Come to find out, it is good for your health!
