Make sure the kiddos have a proper fitted backpack! These features are great. Be sure to have it firmly tightened so the backpack is on the back and not sagging off the lower back. Loose backpacks cause kids to lean forward with their shoulders and head causing undo stress in the neck and upper back. Throw a phone in their hands as well.... even worse.
