What’s your favorite part of Thanksgiving prep?

Our clients love incorporating fine motor skills into the holiday fun—whether it’s setting the table, chopping veggies for side dishes, or creating festive arts and crafts.

Thanksgiving preparations are a great way to showcase occupational therapy in action! Cognitive skills come into play when reading recipes and gathering ingredients, while functional ambulation is highlighted as clients carry items from the kitchen to the dining room, carefully balancing dishes to set the table.

Our clients are truly having a blast this Thanksgiving season!
