This is what today looked like as a stay at home mom/NP/business owner. To be honest, finding the balance of being present with my daughter and running a business without consistent childcare is challenging! But I also want to be with my baby as much as possible and love that having my own business allows that 🩷

P.S. If you do all the night wakings, I recommend having your partner take the early mornings. This is how we found some equity in the sleep deprivation 😅

🕯️ Witching Hour: Why Your Newborn Is Fussier in the Evening

The witching hour is real — that stretch in the evening when your newborn seems inconsolable no matter what you try. But here’s a secret: planning for cluster feeding from after dinner time until about 10pm. Get a snack, fill your water bottle and pick a show. Put baby skin to skin and allow them to nurse and doze, nurse and doze.

✨ Feeding more frequently during this time helps fill their tiny tummy, regulate their nervous system, and may lead to a longer stretch of sleep later on.

It’s not easy, but it’s normal — and it won’t last forever. You’ve got this, and I’m here if you need support 💛
