Sharp works through the Samaritan Counseling Center of the North Shore, an interfaith counseling center and member of The Samaritan Ministry. The Samaritan Center opened in response to needs of clergy and their congregations, to provide spiritually sensitive counseling and training. Congregations subsidize the work of the Center so that its counselors can provide services on a sliding fee scale to clients who need it. Erin Sharp's education:
