We are so proud of our Mini and Youth Entrepreneurs (ages 7–17) who took the bold step to market their products at the Legacy & Leadership Gala. Four of them received both the County Recognition Award and a special award from ShahJaan’s Healthcare Training & Services for their dedication and growth through our mentorship program.

Two of our shining stars will be taking the next step by showcasing their products at the KidBiz Market, hosted by the NY Small Business Development Center (SBDC) with Buffalo State University.

🌟 Thank you all for making the ShahJaan’s Legacy & Leadership Gala an unforgettable celebration of purpose, passion, and community! 🌟

From the bottom of our hearts, we’re grateful for each and every one of you — our guests, speakers, youth entrepreneurs, vendors, community leaders, media partners, and volunteers — who showed up, supported, and made the night so special.

We are deeply honored to share that ShahJaan’s Healthcare Training and Services LLC has been officially recognized with a proclamation — declaring July 26th as ShahJaan’s Healthcare Training & Services Day in Erie County, New York!
Our founder, Khaleda Shah, also received a special award from the Erie County Legislature — and we are so grateful for this recognition.
A heartfelt thank you to Legislator Lawrence Dupre and Sahi Chowdhury for their role in making this moment possible.

A sincere thank you to Councilwoman Leah Halton‑Pope, Majority Leader of the Buffalo Common Council representing the Ellicott District, for attending our event. Although she had to leave early, her presence and support meant so much to us.

We’re humbled, grateful, and more committed than ever to serving our community.

Today, I honor the love story that gave me life.

It’s my parents’ anniversary—a union of two souls whose devotion shaped everything I am. Though my Dad is no longer with us in this world, his love echoes in every corner of my mother’s prayers and in the quiet strength she still carries for him.

I’ll never forget how, before he passed, my father wanted to renew his vows/ nikah with my Mom. He wanted to stand beside her one more time and say, “You’re still my Jaan.” Her name, meaning heart, became the pulse behind my life and the name he gave, playfully at first, to my business— ShahJaan’s Healthcare Training and Services LLC. A name that now stands for the very legacy of their love and the service of others.

In this clip from my conversation with Gloire Drogba
, I share one of the greatest gifts my Dad ever gave me: his reminder to keep my conscience clean, to stay true to myself and to my Lord, and to keep moving forward—no matter how heavy life sometimes feels.

My parents’ love and wisdom live on—in me, in my work, and in every life ShahJaan’s touches. I pray that one day I find a love as profound, as loyal, and as eternal as theirs.

This post is for them. For the love that built me. And for anyone who needs to remember: Feel everything. But keep going.
