The month of love is coming soon! ❤️Maybe Valentine’s Day isn’t really a big deal to you, but whether you are single, dating, married, or otherwise -- it’s all around us. The stores are full of candy hearts, cheesy cards and pink and red everywhere you turn. Love is literally in the air everywhere. 😉
Are you feeling it in your own life? I hope so!
But, if you are feeling defeated, frustrated, overwhelmed, stressed...you are not alone. This season/holiday can be hard when you feel like there is nothing to love about your life right now. 😢 Maybe the New Year’s motivation has worn off, or maybe you didn’t even have it to begin with. Maybe you are feeling the effects of the long winter and feeling low on energy, inspiration or excitement. Whatever it may be that has you down and not really feeling the love right now, just know that it doesn’t have to stay that way!
Here are some quick tips to fall more in love with your own life, starting now!
💕 Live in the present. Don’t let worry for the future or regret for the past overpower the beautiful things happening in your life at the moment.
💕 Choose more positivity. Stop the negative cycle by bringing in more positivity. Unfollow negative accounts, disconnect from negative people and intercept your own negative thoughts.
💕 Get clear on your values and priorities. Figure out what truly matters most to you and hold on to that and let go of the rest.
💕 Connect with others regularly. There are so many ways to stay in contact with others, make more time to connect with those who are important to you.
💕 Do more of what you love. Take up an old hobby, learn a new skill, go an adventure, have some fun – just spend time doing things that excite you.
💕 Serve others. Volunteer your time or expertise, donate money or other goods, serve at church or in the community. Contribute to something bigger than yourself.
💕 Choose forgiveness and grace. Forgive yourself and others and let go of bitterness. Give yourself grace and let it overflow in your life.
If you are struggling in this season, I hope these can help you. Please know that you are loved, even if you don’t feel it. And I am here to help you in even more ways if you need it. Feel free to reach out whenever!
