TOXIC OVERLOAD
🤔 𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑏𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑡𝑜𝑥𝑖𝑐 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑙𝑜𝑎𝑑?⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Not everything we have always been told that is "good" for us really is...😱⁣⁣
⁣⁣
For example, OTC vitamins created within labs are synthetically made and cause toxins to build within our system, which can end up causing more harm than good. Only vitamins created within whole foods will have all of their co-agents in order for them to have optimal absorption within our systems 💣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It’s also important to know where our food comes from. What may be considered "healthy" can be laden with chemicals and preservatives. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
☠️ Some of these toxins that we take in do not leave our system because our body doesn't identify them as part of our functioning processing due to the fact that they are not naturally sourced. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

Our body eliminates toxins through our colon, skin, liver, and kidneys. If you or anyone you know deals with skin issues, it’s likely rooted in a digestive system not functioning properly. The toxins are then pushed out of the skin, ouch.⁣⁣

**Hardening of the Arteries**
How many of you know someone who has atherosclerosis or hardening of the arteries? This would be a good article to share with them.

**DNA Damage is the Primary Cause of Hardening of the Arteries.**

In my class, “Protecting Your DNA,” I focus on the primary cause of disease and aging: damage to our DNA. (The link to the class is below)

Now, after a decade of research by the University of Cambridge, the primary cause of calcification or hardening of the arteries has been discovered. It’s not high cholesterol or fat. It’s DNA damage.

When DNA is damaged by toxins, oxidants, and inflammation, our cells mount a defense response to repair the damaged DNA. A cadre of nano-sized molecular machines go to work to repair the damage. One of the team players in this DNA repair process is a molecule produced by our cells call poly (ADP-ribose) or PAR.

The researchers found that not only is PAR involved in DNA repair, but it’s also involved in the process of calcification. Calcification is the process by which soluble calcium is converted into insoluble calcium crystals. It’s analogous to the process our body uses to build bone. These crystals attach themselves to the elastic components of inner lining of the arterial walls (elastin and collagen), and cause loss of elasticity or hardening of the arteries.

Researchers found that DNA damage leads to release of PAR in the arterial wall, and PAR, in turn, served as a catalyst to cause the calcification process.

So, the primary cause of hardening of the arteries is DNA damage.

In common western style, instead of dealing with the root cause of the issue, the researchers are now looking for molecules that block PAR. In my opinion, this is the wrong way to go. First, it’s not the root cause of the issue. Second, PAR is needed to repair DNA. If people take medication that blocks PAR production, their ability to repair DNA will be handicapped. This will lead to increased cancer rates.

The right way to deal with this issue is to prevent DNA damage in the first place. In my class, I show you a natural means to achieve that without causing other major issues and side effects.

In this class, I also provide essential oil recipes that are designed to protect your DNA from damage. I’ve also formatted this into a kit with labeled roller bottles and recipe cards.

Adulterated Oils & Their Dangers
WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW CAN HURT YOU

👉Warnings like this should be your first clue or indication that the oil has probably been adulterated in some fashion. What You Should Know About Essential Oils

Most people believe that when they buy an oil that is labeled as “100% pure” they are getting a PURE, genuine essential oil. This is far from true most of the time. Not all essential oils are created equal and unfortunately one can have a pure oil and still NOT have a therapeutic quality oil because of the lack of care or concern given during the cultivation, harvesting and distillation of the plant.

💥💥Producing therapeutic grade essential oils is as much an art as it is a science. 💥💥

It has been reported that companies are allowed to label their oils “100% pure” as long as it contains at least 10% of the “actual oil” alleged to be in the bottle! READ THAT AGAIN! So that bottle you see at your local grocery or health food store, or even from apothecary shops and essential oil companies labeled “100% pure” means NOTHING!

💥Adulterated and mislabeled essential oils present dangers
👉Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt, PhD., world renowned author of several books in the field of aromatherapy estimates that 95% of the essential oils produced in the world are adulterated or reconstituted. This means they are not pure, not genuine, and not authentic.

He states…
“There is endless ingenuity when it comes to adulterating essential oils. Adulterants are not always synthetic, many adulterants are of botanical origin hence natural, yet they still offset the balance of the authentic oil.”

This means, at best, they may be only partially natural and have lesser quality oils or chemicals mixed in, or worse, they may be totally man-made synthetic versions of the real thing. In either case, it affects the balance or action of the resulting oil in a negative way. Oils produced in this manner may contain some of the therapeutic value but they are much more prone to produce an allergic reaction, irritation, and/or undesirable or toxic side effects. Most of the oils on the market are manufactured for the perfume industry with no thought given to preserving any “therapeutic” quality. They are distilled at the same temperature, at the same pressure, and for the same amount of time. They are considered “perfume”, or “aromatherapy” quality, or “fourth & fifth quality” oils and are NOT meant to be used internally, and sometimes not even topically!

Don’t believe me… check the label on your bottle of essential oil, or the next time you’re at your health food store, check to see if somewhere on the label it states “DO NOT INGEST”, or “DO NOT APPLY TOPICALLY”. This includes oils found at your local grocery store, in health food stores, in aromatherapy shops, and even from some of our so-called competitors. I took these pictures at our local grocery store to show you some of the signs and labels for the essential oils being sold there..

Be safe. Use only Young Living Essential oils.

What is an Essential Oil?🌿💦🌸
So, for those enquiring minds who want to know....

Essential oils actually aren't oily!
Oils are defined as any net uncharged chemical substance that is a thick liquid at room temperature and doesn't mix well with water. When we think of them, our minds tend to focus on the kitchen: olive, canola or peanut oil. But there are also oils in your garage (motor oil), and your painting supplies(oil paints).

The name "Essential Oil" is a bit misleading, since they aren’t oils in the classic sense. They are hydrophobic, but unlike animal and vegetable oils, are not made of fatty acids. Their composition instead depends heavily on what plant it originated from. The “essential” in their name refers to the fact that the oil contains the essence of a plant. Isn't that fun??

They have been called “The life-blood if the plant.” It is what protects the plant from insects & ‘invaders’ and their properties are passed on to us if they are raised, harvested, and distilled properly - as is what Young Living does.

Love on your locks: Get extra moisture with DIY leave-in conditioner with Young Living essential oils!

From loose waves to tightly coiled locks, your mom was right—naturally curly hair is a gorgeous gift. Instead of wishing away your wild mane with heat and chemicals, make it the envy of everyone you meet with a moisture-adding regimen.
Whether you’re letting your locks flow or you’re styling with braids, twists, and bantu knots, curly hair needs more moisture more often. With a DIY leave-in conditioner full of thirst-quenching ingredients, you’ll get the refreshing routine your hair needs. For another bump of hair hydration, pair with Mirah Lustrous Hair Oil.
Battling straight hair that is parched too? This recipe is for you!
Ingredients
1 cup aloe vera juice
2 tablespoons favorite conditioner
2 tablespoons avocado oil
5 drops Lavender essential oil
5 drops Cedarwood essential oil
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle. Shake gently to combine.
2. Spray onto wet or dry hair that needs extra moisture.
What is the best natural leave-in hair conditioner?
Ours, of course! Young Living’s commitment to toxin-free beauty knows no bounds. Not only does this homemade product boast clean, wonder-working ingredients, but it’s also a break for the ol’ wallet. Don’t waste money on store-bought picks full of who knows what; instead, make this leave-in conditioner recipe and get ready for the compliments that are coming your way!

Why is our DIY leave-in conditioner so dang good?
It’s all about those wonder-working ingredients! Dry hair doesn’t stand a chance against the lock-loving benefits of aloe vera juice, avocado oil, and pure essential oils.
• Aloe vera juice comes from the same plant aloe vera gel does. Think of how you hydrate and soothe parched skin with aloe gel. You get a similar effect with aloe vera juice in your hair and on your scalp.
• Diluting your go-to conditioner with the aloe juice makes it easier to spray on hydration without weighing hair down. May we suggest switching to Copaiba Vanilla Conditioner to boost those hair care benefits?
• Avocado oil contains vitamins A, B, D, E, and beta carotene. It is deeply moisturizing for your hair and scalp. Change the amount of avocado oil in the recipe to suit your hair’s needs.
• Essential oils—although we may be biased—are the real winner here! You can tailor which scents you love with benefits that will suit your specific hair needs. As far as our formula goes, Cedarwood helps you show off healthy-looking hair, while Lavender helps cleanse when used on your mane.
