Emergencies can strike when we least expect them—being prepared keeps both you and your pets safe.

🐾 Create a Pet Emergency Kit so you’re ready to go at a moment’s notice. Suggested items include:

Leash, harness, or carrier
Comfort items (blanket, toy, treats)
Sanitation supplies (litter, waste bags, paper towels)

🧰 A “go bag” for your pet ensures they’ll have what they need if you ever need to leave quickly.

🐱🩺 August 22 is Take Your Cat to the Vet Day! 🩺🐱

It’s easy to forget that our cats—especially the calm, cozy, indoor ones—still need regular veterinary care. But annual checkups are essential for catching silent health issues before they become serious.

👩‍⚕️ Why are yearly vet visits so important for cats?
✅ They often hide signs of illness until it’s advanced
✅ Routine screenings catch things like kidney disease or hyperthyroidism early
✅ Dental care can prevent serious pain and infection
✅ They still need vaccines and parasite prevention
✅ You get expert guidance on nutrition, behavior, and aging

We’re sharing this great article from Catster that breaks down why vet visits are so important for every feline:
