“Bloom where you’re planted” is a thought that comes up quite often, but especially now that I am once again living at home on the ranch.​​​​​​​​

There are countless reasons I am happy to have moved “home”, but one of my favorites is early morning walks with my dad. I get to spend time with my dad, have meaningful conversation and enjoy the beauty all around us.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
I always find myself very drawn to the sunflowers 🌻 during these walks. And the fact that they didn’t choose where their seeds landed, but they grew and bloomed wherever they were planted.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Regardless of where they were; along the bank of a stream or canal, maybe in the middle of a field, or on the side of the road, they stood tall in the sun and bloomed, bringing beauty to their surroundings.​​​​​​​​

I think we can learn a lot from these sunflowers 🌻 ​​​​​​​​

We don’t always get to choose our circumstances or environment, but we can choose to stand tall and continue to grow and bloom where we are planted, sharing our beauty and talents wherever we might be.​​​​​​​​
