YES, and I would add that we can also pass down empathy, kindness, tolerance, authenticity, and our belief in every person's right to justice and peace. As parents, we have a GREAT DEAL of power and also responsibility. We'll make lots of mistakes. When we can admit them openly to our kids, our errors become the best teachers of all.

In other words, there's nothing stopping us!
