Crisis & Counseling Centers (C&C) is a private, nonprofit social service agency licensed by the State of Maine as a mental health and substance use treatment facility. Many of C&C's clinicians are trained in mental health and substance use treatment, and we also provide treatment for co-occurring disorders. , G.E.A.R. We offer the following programs:
• Crisis response and aftercare services to all of Kennebec and Somerset counties in Maine
• G.E.A.R. Parent Network services – free one-on-one phone support, support groups, and workshops offered on a statewide basis to parents of children with behavioral health needs
• Medication Management to assist those with mental health disorders and to support clients' recovery from addiction
• Case Management, Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient treatment of mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders in Augusta.
