Respectfully responding to the mental health and substance use needs of individuals and families. Parent Network, serves parents throughout the state.

Crisis & Counseling Centers (C&C) is a private, nonprofit social service agency licensed by the State of Maine as a mental health and substance use treatment facility. Many of C&C's clinicians are trained in mental health and substance use treatment, and we also provide treatment for co-occurring disorders. The agency's clinical services are located in central Maine, and our parent support program

, G.E.A.R. We offer the following programs:

• Crisis response and aftercare services to all of Kennebec and Somerset counties in Maine
• G.E.A.R. Parent Network services – free one-on-one phone support, support groups, and workshops offered on a statewide basis to parents of children with behavioral health needs
• Medication Management to assist those with mental health disorders and to support clients' recovery from addiction
• Case Management, Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient treatment of mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders in Augusta. We provide services and support from our outpatient office at 10 Caldwell Road, Augusta, via telehealth and throughout the community. For more information, visit www.crisisandcounseling.org.

Kennebec Behavioral Health is doing a series of staff spotlights starting with a post on Jenny, one of their telecounseling and outpatient clinicians. Crisis & Counseling Centers and all of their staff have joined KBH. If you would like to continue to following our journey with KBH, make sure to follow KBH's social media as we will gradually phase out C&C's social media accounts.

Since Crisis & Counseling has joined Kennebec Behavioral Health, the organization has moved its finance, development and communication departments to a new location in Waterville! KBH wants to thank its facilities team for beautifully renovating the building. This space was very much needed as KBH has grown considerably the past few years and with Crisis & Counseling Centers having joined KBH in December 2024.

Please make sure to follow Kennebec Behavioral Health on Facebook to continue receiving news and updates. The Crisis & Counseling page will gradually be phased out.

We are thrilled to announce that Crisis & Counseling Centers and Kennebec Behavioral Health have officially joined, creating a stronger and more unified force in providing behavioral health services to our community!
