It’s always hard to see people move away but especially for these two. They were both in what I lovingly call my first hundred and Ian was new patient number 16 more than 17 years ago. Thousands of patients later and I still have a special place in my heart for those first 100 who put their trust in me when I was a fresh faced kid.
This style of healthcare takes time and realistically is a life long pursuit. This allows you to create these relationships and watch people grow and age with you. It’s one of the things that drew me to chiropractic.

Next week is Spring break for my kids. That means no Chiro in the office Sat 4/5 - Thurs 4/10. Other therapies will be available and back to normal Friday 4/11

It wasn’t long ago this guy was eager to start freshman football 🏈 This week I get to take him on some college visits 🤯
No Chiro in the office after Wed at noon this week.
Staff will be available for recovery like Red Light and Hyperbaric treatments. Still have space left to see you this week but don’t wait till the last minute.

Shedding tears this morning thinking about my friend Johnny. If you knew Johnny you loved him. And so many people in this community did. He was a kindred spirit who could be simultaneously larger than life and exquisitely gentle and kind. He and Brad Basham taught me a lot about friendship and caring. About taking a minute to ask someone how they’re doing and if they’ve caught any waves lately. I cherish those random phone calls I got where we would have long talks after he moved back to Oklahoma to be near family and I will do my best today to carry that legacy of kindness, caring, and friendship he and Brad taught me through example. RIP my friend.

Always loved these shots that get this angle on breaking waves. It’s the view you get paddling over on a board, but it also looks a little like the oceans spine. What can I say. I’m a nerd for spines 🤓
