Long Island Stuttering and Speech Pathology Long Island Stuttering and Speech Pathology offers consultation, evaluation and treatment in the areas of speech, language, fluency and voice disorders.

You may have concerns regarding your child’s speech and language development or your own communication skills. Long Island Stuttering and Speech Pathology Center offers specialized treatment programs for children and adults with speech and language disorders including fluency (stuttering), myofunctional (tongue thrust), oral motor, apraxia, articulation/phonological disorders, language & auditory processing disorders, and feeding disorders. Therapy focuses on promoting speech and language development and remediation, increasing effective communication skills, and helping parents and caregivers meet the needs of their loved ones. A small, friendly staff of experienced speech pathologists will address you or your child’s individual needs. Here we work as a team to find each individual’s strengths and needs. We work with family, educators, and other healthcare providers to include them as full partners in the therapeutic or educational process for your child or family member. We offer a family centered fluency program for youngsters who stutter in a fun environment including the Lidcombe program and a structured fluency-enhancement and modification program. For the older child/adult a specialized teletherapy program using the web is an option to treat stuttering. We will be happy to answer any of your questions or concerns. Give us a call!
