The United States does not have an official AED registry, often leaving both dispatchers and lay responders without an effective way to locate an AED during an emergency, when seconds count.

PulsePoint hosts a community-sourced registry, where people can report the location and status of AEDs in their area. In PulsePoint-connected communities, they have been able to integrate their AED registry into 911 protocol systems, allowing dispatchers to locate AEDs for people during an emergency - a process that greatly increases chance of survival during a cardiac arrest!
