Child Development Center team members create enriching, safe and fun environments for learning; work collaboratively with colleagues; and communicate daily with parents. We recently shared news about our planned move on Aug. 4. That move will not take place as scheduled. Our providers — George Borst, M.D., Moussa Alhaj, M.D., Brittany Stewart, PA-C, and Marcella McGuffin, PA-C — will continue seeing patients at their current location for the next few months:

The UK King's Daughters Family Pharmacy will begin 24/7 service for patients and the public Wednesday, August 20.

Its new location was carefully chosen, so it would be easily accessible to all parts of the Ashland campus, including the new Emergency Department and Main Entrance. Patients being discharged from the Emergency Department and the hospital, or leaving an Urgent Care Center, will have a super-convenient pharmacy available no matter the time or day.

In addition, a new pharmacy drive-thru in Lot "E" on the Ashland campus, also will open August 20 with 24/7 service. Customers can access the new drive-thru by entering the parking lot at 24th Street between Bath and Montgomery avenues.

While prescription drop-offs and pick-ups can be done at all hours, the Family Pharmacy's retail space will be closed from 8 p.m. until 7 a.m. daily. During these times, prescriptions and over-the-counter items can be picked up at the Family Pharmacy's walk-up window or the drive-thru.

To get to the Family Pharmacy from the outside, visitors should enter via the new Main Entrance, which also is open 24/7.

UK King’s Daughters Maternal-Fetal Bereavement will host a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group on Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Health Education Center (lower level, Lexington Avenue parking garage).

This group provides support and resources to families who have lost a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant loss. We strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for families to share stories, receive comfort and heal.

King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Since 1899, we have cared for the people of this region as a private, nonprofit hospital. King’s Daughters Medical Center is a locally controlled, not-for-profit, 465-bed regional referral center, covering a 150-mile radius that includes southern Ohio, eastern Kentucky and western West Virginia.
