“For the Woolridge family of Noblesville, transportation has often been a struggle because two of its four members use wheelchairs.

That all changed Nov. 2, when the family was presented with a wheelchair-accessible van by the St. Nicholas Neighbor in Need Foundation, a Carmel, Indiana-based nonprofit that assists people who experience difficulties in their life because of a disability, long-term illness or injuries suffered in an accident.”

Our Ann Arbor store recently had the opportunity to work alongside Michigan Rehabilitation Association (MRA) to create an annual scholarship awarded to students studying to pursue a career in the field of rehabilitation.

The first ever recipient of this scholarship is Narae Yu! Narae is currently a student at Michigan State University, studying to receive her Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling.

Our team is excited to continue to develop this program in the coming years as we seek to support more students across the state of Michigan!
