Chime with Michelle Wellness Coach and Yoga Instructor When I was a child I was not taught anything practical about nutrition and how that related to my body.

I was always overweight and always highly aware of that fact. Before graduating college I decided to give weight loss a try. I had no idea the lifelong journey that I just committed to. I've spent years uncovering and bulldozing roadblocks in my journey due to my ignorance about nutrition and my own body and mind. Since then I've dedicated my life to helping others on their journey. Whether your goal is weight loss like mine, staving off lifestyle diseases, conquering an eating disorder, or other health goals I'd like to help on your journey.

I absolutely love the reframing I do with my clients. Everything is about experimenting. And “failures” are just about figuring out YOUR path.

So many things we think we SHOULD be doing. Okay, fine. Let’s see how that feels in our body as we execute it through a temporary experiment.

Try it.
Have COMPASSION.
Collect data.
Evaluate.
Get CURIOUS.
Adjust as needed.

Whether it’s macros, calorie counting, morning workouts, preworkout, supplements, gut health, circadian rhythm routines, different types of workouts, keto, intermittent fasting, the list goes on and on and on and on! The point is we are all different. When we jump into new routines that we think we SHOULD be doing (according to the Internet and your current influencers) let your body be the guide. Always evaluate according to how your body is responding!

Compassion and curiosity is always the better reframe for starting new things and embarking on a healthier journey!

The body you are in today deserves love, attention, honor, and self care.

The body you are in today is just as WORTHY as your “goal” body or the body you had in younger years.

Do your actions and thoughts towards the body you are in today reflect that?

If you felt like your body today was worthy of being treated well, what might you do differently?

Would you drink more water? Feed it nutritious foods? Get more rest? Have one less drink? A little more movement? Speak kinder to yourself?

My Story

When I was a child I was not taught anything practical about nutrition and how that related to my body. I was always overweight and always highly aware of that fact. When I decided to give weight loss a try I had no idea the lifelong journey that I committed myself to. I spent years uncovering and bulldozing roadblocks due to my ignorance about nutrition, disordered eating, poor body image, and dangerously stagnant mindset. When I finally got it right my passion about my health became too big for the life I was currently living. I changed careers and become health coach certified. Now I get to partner with others on their very own unique journeys to find better health and up-level their quality of life. Whether the goal is weight loss like mine, staving off lifestyle diseases, navigating an eating disorder, or conquering other health goals and concerns, helping people find their way is what I live for!
