The past few weeks have been filled with thoughtful gestures that brought comfort, joy, and care to our patients and colleagues. From blankets to keep our patients cozy, fuzzy socks to help our care teams relax, toys to bring smiles to the kids we serve, and funding for patients with cancer to receive free wigs, salon services, and more — we are grateful to everyone who took the time to spread holiday cheer. Your kindness means so much to us and those we serve!

A truckload of holiday cheer!

With the help of nearly 150 volunteers—and a parade of cars—the Joseph Lacroce Foundation recently delivered hundreds of toys for the children we serve in our hospitals and through our community programs.

We’re grateful to Sam Lacroce and the foundation for their generosity, including continued support of Virtua Health's Pediatric Mobile Services program which provides vital health screenings and more to 10,000+ local children each year.

“Gobble, gobble, gobble” — that’s turkey talk for how extra thankful we’re feeling today.

This Thanksgiving, we’re grateful for the chance to help our community be well, get well, stay well…and Eat Well. Last week, we continued our tradition of distributing free turkeys and fresh produce to our neighbors in Camden and Willingboro. This impactful event is possible thanks to the generosity of many kind-hearted donors, including Dr. Eric Sztejman and his family, whose passion and advocacy inspires us all. Thank you to everyone who dropped by this special event.

What an inspiring visit! Last week, we joined the Cinnaminson Fire Department at their station for a special check presentation — a remarkable $8,000 gift to benefit local patients with breast cancer.

Their long-standing 🩷 Paint the Town Pink 🩷 campaign, which features fun community events such as car shows and chili cook-offs, has supported Virtua’s Breast Care Comfort Fund for 14 years, making a difference for thousands of patients. Thank you, Cinnaminson Fire Department, for your heart, dedication, and generosity!
