It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Father John “Jack” Dewes. Fr. Jack helped so many individuals and families while presiding over St. Anne Catholic Community, we are honored to be serving his family during this difficult time. Fr. Jack’s presence in the Barrington community will be deeply missed but his positive impact will not be forgotten.

Seeking an individual that would be able to work various part-time hours for visitations and funeral services, very flexible workdays. Great position for a healthy retired person.

Job responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting guests as they arrive to the funeral home by showing them where to park and/or leading them to the proper chapel
- Assisting funeral directors on services that take place at the funeral home and other facilities
- Assisting with the set up and break down of chapels before and after services, including moving caskets, urns, flowers, and any items brought in by family members.
- Answering phones and directing callers to the person best suited to answer their questions and/or taking detailed messages
- Cleaning up the funeral home after each service, including vacuuming, taking out trash, etc.
- Should be comfortable driving the funeral home vehicles

We will always remember the tragic series of events that took place on this day, 20 years ago. We continue to remember to nearly 3,000 innocent lives that were lost that day. We continue to honor the survivors, the fallen, and brave heroes that gave their lives to save so many others. We will never forget.
