Raven Key The Story
As a child there were no surprises, I always knew but didn’t know why. I didn’t mind that I knew but a surprise would have been nice. At least I knew what to expect and there were times when I listened and others I just didn’t want to hear. All my life or as far back as I can remember, things were different and I knew not to tell.
As I grew older and experienced many different religions that just didn’t fit, I decided to do what was best for me, my own thing. What was this thing? At the time I really didn’t know; all I did know was that I loved “Mother Nature” but how do you tell your friends something like that? Would they think I was a crazy person?
I loved to just be in nature, digging with my hands in the garden, smelling the rain and feeling the fog. Greeting the morning at my bus stop to feel the sun or whatever she had planned for me that day, on my face. Listening to the birds, and having an actual conversation with her every morning. I’m sure the neighbors used to talk. I mean really, here is this girl at her bus stop early and why is she looking all around and is she talking to herself? Now I laugh just thinking about it.
When I was a teenager my Mother bought me a set of tarot cards, and we would visit metaphysical stores, even getting our cards read every couple of months. She would even have the readers come to our house and it would be a party. The neighbor women would come by and get their cards read also. Things began to fall into place and I began a path that I had always known but didn’t understand.
