Our Story
Dr. Jonathan Summers opened Advantage Family Care in 2013. The office relocated in Spring of 2018, and Urgent Team took over the Advantage Family Care center in Florence, before entering into a joint venture with Huntsville Hospital in 2019 and rebranding as Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care with Dr. Summers and his team continuing their care.
Urgent Team is one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. The Urgent Team Family of Urgent Care and Walk-in Centers provides quality and affordable family healthcare at 55+ locations with six brands: Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care (with centers in Alabama); Urgent Team (with centers located in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee); Sherwood Urgent Care and Baptist Health Urgent Care (with centers in Arkansas); and Physicians Care (with centers throughout East Tennessee). Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care’s convenient, walk-in centers provide a comprehensive range of healthcare services including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health and wellness care.
