I did it. I retired. I struggled with the decision because I love my Marshall Manor family…the residents, their families and the staff. It has been MY HOME more hours in the day than the home I go to at the end of the day.

I was filled with emotion at the outpouring of love at my retirement party! Thank you to Priscilla, Kathy, Georgia, Robert, Jeri, Brian and Greg and all those that planned the wonderful party and to my friends and family that came! I cannot stress enough how much I will miss EVERYONE but this is not Goodbye..only… SEE YOU LATER!

The other day a group of ladies from First Methodist church was passing out blankets. One of the ladies said something about a bird feeder. I said birdseed was expensive. Guess what made it back from lunch and big bag of bird seed beside my desk.
