Chocolate Peppermint Christmas Crack

Ingredients:
54 Simple Mills Sea Salt Grain Free Crackers
½ cup unsalted grass-fed butter
½ cup organic brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 ½ cups dark chocolate chips
1 serving CSE White Chocolate Peppermint
¼ cup crushed candy cane

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a 9x13 pan lined with parchment paper. Line the bottom of the baking pan evenly with crackers in a single layer; set aside.
2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add butter and sugar at the same time. Whisk constantly until the butter is fully melted and the sauce resembles caramel. Let bubble for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
3. Pour caramel mixture over the crackers, spreading evenly. Put into the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
4. Melt chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments until chocolate is melted and smooth. Add the protein powder, stirring until completely combined. Pour chocolate mixture on top of the crackers and spread out evenly. Sprinkle crushed candy cane over the melted chocolate.
5. Let the pan cool completely in the fridge (4+ hours). Cut or break apart into equal portions for each serving.
