Drew Ryan Schaaf passed away in the early morning hours on July 11th 2010, just 2 1/2 weeks after he was born. During the night, Drew shifted and suffocated.
Drew’s father Dan, was trying to soothe him to sleep when they both fell asleep together on the family’s couch. Although his time on this earth was brief, the positive impact he has had on the lives of so many is profound. Drew’s Faithful Feet 5K has created a partnership with Mamie’s Poppy Plates, Trinity Unity Point, and Hammond Henry Hospital, to provide tangible momentos to families who suffer stillbirth or infant death.
