Turkey Meatballs in Fresh Tomato Sauce is a meal that’s as delicious as it is nutritious! 🍅 With lean turkey, fresh tomatoes, and a touch of basil, this dish is full of bold flavor. The zucchini noodles make for the perfect low-carb pairing, keeping things light but still satisfying.
Here’s how to make it 👇
Ingredients:
🔹2 teaspoons olive oil
🔹½ cup thinly sliced green onion
🔹4 garlic cloves, minced
🔹¾ teaspoon salt
🔹¼ teaspoon black pepper
🔹12 ounces ground lean turkey
🔹1 ½ cups chopped tomato
🔹2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
🔹2 cups packaged zucchini noodles, steamed
Directions:
1️⃣ Heat 1 tsp oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high.
2️⃣Sauté green onion and garlic for 2 minutes, then season with salt and pepper. Transfer half to a medium bowl and half to a small bowl. Wipe out the skillet.
3️⃣ Mix turkey with the green onion mixture in the medium bowl; form 10 meatballs.
4️⃣ Heat 1 tsp oil in the skillet over medium. Brown meatballs, turning once, about 6 minutes.
5️⃣ Add tomato, basil, and the reserved green onion mixture. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on medium-low until meatballs are done.
6️⃣ Serve over steamed zucchini noodles.

These crispy crab cakes with a crunchy spiralized cucumber & jicama salad are a game-changer! 😋 If you saw our post the other day about jicama, you already know how nutritious and versatile it is—now, here’s a delicious way to use it! 💡
This dish is easy to make and absolutely delicious! Try it out and let us know what you think. ⬇️
🛒 Ingredients
Crab Cakes
- 1 portion* lump crab meat, squeezed well and checked for shells
- 1 tsp avocado oil
- 1 tbsp Ideal Protein Broccoli Cheddar Soup Mix
- ½ tsp hot mustard
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped dill
- Compliant hot sauce for serving (optional)
Salad
- ⅛ tsp salt
- Juice of half a lemon, plus a wedge for serving
- 1 cup kohlrabi or jicama, peeled and spiralized
- 1 cup English cucumber, spiralized
👨‍🍳 Directions
- Mix crab meat, broccoli soup mix, mustard, and dill. Chill for at least 20 minutes (or overnight for best results).
- Toss salad ingredients together and set aside.
- Preheat oven to low broil. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and brush with avocado oil.
- Shape crab mixture into two tight disks and place on the baking sheet.
- Broil for 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve with salad, a lemon wedge, and a dash of hot sauce if you like it spicy!
