The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Conference - Lots of new research, info, updates to integrate.
I Loved the education among researchers, surgeons, psychologists, nurses and dieticians.
I’ve been doing bariatric evaluations 20+ years. The outcome data continues to show obesity is a disease that requires lifelong management (not stigma or blame). There is no perfect fix or cure. Surgery is a big decision and a surgical revision is also sometimes inevitable.
