Tahini Seeded Crackers! These are packed with protein and are a great alternative to ultra-processed crackers at the grocery store.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1/4 cup h**p seeds
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup flaxseeds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon of everything bagel seasoning
- pinch of salt

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with
parchment paper.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, h**p seeds, sunflower seeds, flaxseeds, sesame seeds, nutritional yeast, everything bagel seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to distribute the seeds evenly.

3. Add tahini to the dry ingredients and mix. Gradually add water while stirring, until the dough comes together.

4. You may need a bit more or less water, so add it gradually until the mixture forms a ball. Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it out to your desired thickness. For a cracker-like texture, aim for about 1/8 inch thickness.

5. Using a knife or a pizza cutter, cut the rolled-out dough into squares or rectangles.

6. Carefully transfer the cut-out crackers to the prepared baking sheet, leaving a bit of space between each cracker. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the crackers are crisp.

7. Allow the crackers to cool completely on the baking sheet.

Most people have no idea just how much their gut microbiome is shaping the way they feel — and age.

A damaged gut microbiome (think: leaky gut, poor digestion, and low nutrient absorption) can trigger chronic inflammation, weaken your immune system, and accelerate aging from the inside out.

✅ The gut-brain connection means poor gut health can increase anxiety, mood swings, and even depression
✅ 90% of serotonin is made in the gut — not the brain
✅ Gut imbalances are tied to joint pain, skin issues, digestive problems, and memory loss

The good news? Healing your gut is one of the most powerful natural remedies for restoring energy, supporting immune function, and promoting healthy aging.

Start with these steps for gut healing:
✔️ Add probiotic-rich foods (like sauerkraut or kimchi)
✔️ Eat a fiber-rich, anti-inflammatory diet
✔️ Eliminate ultra-processed foods and sugar
✔️ Reduce stress and get quality sleep
✔️ Try a gut detox protocol with natural herbs and supplements

Your gut is the gateway to your health. Take care of it — and it will take care of you.

1. Added sugar
Soda, energy drinks
Candy, pastries, donuts
Sweetened cereals
Coffee drinks loaded with syrup
Ketchup, BBQ sauce, and other condiments

2. Refined carbohydrates
White bread, bagels, and pasta
White rice

Instant noodles and boxed meals

3. Processed meat
Bacon
Hot dogs
Sausages
Deli meats (ham, salami, bologna)

4. Fried foods

Fried chicken
Onion rings
Mozzarella sticks
Drive-thru breakfast sandwiches

5. Excessive alcohol
Excessive beer, wine, or spirits
Sugary cocktails and mixed drinks
Daily alcohol consumption beyond moderation

6. Artificial flavors (and ingredients!)
Aspartame and sucralose (in “diet” sodas and snacks)
Monosodium glutamate (MSG)
Artificial dyes (like Red 40, Yellow 5)
Sodium benzoate, BHA, BHT

Most people are fiber-deficient—and their gut is paying the price.

If you’re dealing with bloating, constipation, slow digestion, or low energy… start with your fiber.

The best sources?

Whole, plant-based foods packed with prebiotics and soluble fiber.
Think chia seeds, lentils, leafy greens, berries, oats, flax.

They feed your good gut bacteria, reduce inflammation, and help everything move better. 🧻

Whether you sit for work or enjoy hobbies typically done while sitting, it's easy to sit for hours each day without realizing the impact it has on our bodies.

The average adult sits for over 6 hours per day. This kind of prolonged sitting has been tied to thinning of the brain’s medial temporal lobe, which is essential for forming new memories.

Spending this much compounded sedentary time (even if you work out or exercise each day) is still harmful to your brain and body.

That's why it's so important to take breaks to get up, move, stretch, and walk.

Here are some ways you can break up sitting during your day:

1. get a standing desk so you can stand and work for part of the day
2. set a timer for every 30 minutes to get up and stretch
3. take frequent walk breaks or laps around the block
4. drink more water - you'll stay hydrated and naturally get up to p*e more often - win win!
5. do squats, lunges, or other exercises between calls or meetings.

(Look for pure aloe vera gel at natural-foods stores or online. Or make your own from the leaves of the aloe vera plant. You'll need 2 large or 4 medium leaves to get 2 tablespoons gel. Cut the flat side of the leaf away, then scrape out the gel with a spoon. Leave behind and discard the bitter yellow latex layer with the outer part of the leaves.)
