In the mid 1970's, the Arms was purchased by two friends who wanted to create active retirement living in a community that would be full of life, service and spirit. The Arms has been able to share space with the Oak Park Township Senior Services, the Lifelong Learning Center (the local Senior Center) and provide office space for over 10 other providers of senior-centered care.
