Tuesday Blessing 💙 🙏 🌳 📖

Strong fruit takes deep roots, friends.
In other words, you can’t be fruitful unless you’re root-ful. ☺️

In Scripture, fruitfulness is always tied to roots. Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit” - John 15:5. A branch that isn’t deeply connected to the source will wither.

We all want to see fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control - Galatians 5:22–23 - But those fruits don’t come from striving harder or trying to “look” spiritual. They grow naturally when our roots are anchored in Christ.

Jeremiah 17:7–8 paints the picture: “Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

🌿 Fruitfulness is not about circumstances. It’s about roots. A rooted life is one planted in God’s Word, watered by His Spirit, and strengthened through prayer. Without strong roots in Him, our growth will be shallow and temporary. But when we’re root-ful in Christ, the fruit will follow.

💡 Stay rooted. Stay connected. Fruit will come in its season. Amen.

A word on: Sabbath Rest

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” - Exodus 20:8

The Sabbath isn’t just about a day off—it’s about a heart posture. A holy pause in the chaos. A reminder that we are not defined by our productivity but by God’s presence.

When we stop striving, we make room to abide. When we rest, we declare that God is the One sustaining us, not our endless to-do lists.

🌿 Sabbath is:
• A rhythm of worship
• A gift of rest
• A sacred reminder that He is enough

This week, may you find peace in the stillness, joy in His presence, and renewal for the race ahead. Lay it all down and let the Lord refresh your soul.

🕊️ Sabbath is not about what you stop doing, but Who you are stopping for.

Easy Ways to Relax After a Busy Day 🍵 📖 🧖‍♀️🚶🏻🙏

Faithful Approaches to Rest, Recovery, and Renewal

Ever feel like all the things your favorite influencer tells you to do to relax just makes you more stressed, adding a whole lot more to your to-do list after a long day?

Same, friend, same.

It’s no wonder after all the feats of a busy day we collapse on the couch and doom scroll while the dishes sit. We’re longing for a break and avoiding more chores. And the next day, we do it all over again.

Destressing, recuperating, resting, preparing to do those things shouldn’t be yet another set of tasks on a never-ending list. A lot of the ‘advice’ out there requires a variety of bath products, more apps to put on your phone, supplements, and classes. It can be a whole lot easier to decide to simply distract yourself after reviewing some of those tips.

Taking time to relax isn’t a luxury. It’s actually a pivotal part of following and obeying God. Our Creator designed us to require times we unplug, rest, let go. And that means that rest should be about restoration: mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Sometimes the path ahead feels uncertain, blocked, or impossible. But our God is a Waymaker—He specializes in making a way where there seems to be none. 🌿

From parting the Red Sea for Israel to opening prison doors for Paul, God has always been faithful to lead His children through. What feels like a dead end to us is simply the backdrop for His miracle.
