My Story
Ever since i was young I led an active lifestyle. I loved to run and exercise. I continued to keep that habit after my husband and two children. After ten great years of teaching, I decided to pursue my passion and became certified as a personal trainer and nutritionist. I wanted to share my love of exercise and a healthy lifestyle with others like myself. After a successful three years, I am proud to say that my clients are thriving! The personalized workouts that I plan for them are meeting their goals! My Approach
Our first meeting I will do a fitness assessment with you. I'll ask question about your goals, current exercise, and health history. I'll take your answers and my knowledge and develop a personalized program to help you reach your goals. Each session will be customized, and I understand how important it is to keep workouts fun, so I always bring in new exercises. Contact Me

Heading home from vacation or a long weekend?

Follow these 3 SURPRISING STEPS to make sure you will be ready to bounce back from vacation so you can feel and look your best 365 days a year!

🔷As you begin your journey home after a quick vacay, do you start to hear that negative inner voice of anxiety?

🔶While you had a great time traveling, learning, and experiencing new things you may also feel exhausted, over-stimulated, and anxious to get home and attack the one million things that have to get done by Monday.

🔷And when it comes to your health and fitness, you may feel even more behind…

🔶Thoughts like “I’m not good enough, there’s no time, I’m so behind, why did I make all those TERRIBLE decisions?” resurface again and again….”

⏰And as the minutes tick by you start to feel even more defeated and unsure of how you will ever catch up.

First of all : We must be realistic that we all deserve and need to have fun breaks in our lives AND at the same time we must acknowledge that we also may NEED to make some changes in order to get what we truly want and feel fulfilled.
So here are my top recommendations to make coming home from travel super simple and keep you on track to lose 5 lbs a month till you you hit your goal weight👇

1️⃣Schedule a grocery delivery the day you return with your family’s basic protein, produce, and other essentials. Swap in extras you feel like adding that week. I ALWAYS Instacart when coming home from a trip!

2️⃣Take the first 30 minutes upon arriving home from your destination to put your essentials away and pack school or work lunches for the next school day.
👉Then, REST as much as possible when you arrive home and make sure you get a good night’s sleep.

If that means you have to move your workout to Monday afternoon or Tuesday, that’s totally fine. Prioritize sleep.

3️⃣Give yourself grace and move forward. Don’t let negative thoughts and feelings affect your behaviors. Move forward with a clean slate and an attitude of gratitude!

Long weekends and vacations will ALWAYS be a part of your lifestyle and you need to learn how to navigate.

You will NEVER be perfect but you will always get better!!!

I know what to do, but I can’t seem to get motivated… and I’m disgusted with myself to the point where I can’t look in the mirror. I talk to myself in ways I wouldn’t talk to anyone else.”

Our ⭐TOP 🔟 Rules⭐ to Look Amazing in Your 👙This Summer (and all year long)!!!!!!

1️⃣To lose weight you need to be in the RIGHT calorie deficit. LESS CALORIES DOES NOT EQUAL LESS FOOD!!!!!!!!!!! Whatever plan you choose, if you take in less calories than you burn you will lose weight/fat and SUSTAINABLE long term so you don’t gain back all the weight you lose. Quality of weight loss matters.
Taking in too little calories will stress your body and cause you to eat more later.
To lose fat you need to have the right set of proteins, carbs and fats for YOUR body.
Once you hit your goal weight/size there is a system to get your calories back to maintenance. You should NOT be in a calorie deficit forever.

2️⃣Choose a food and fitness plan that you can SUSTAIN. This means doing the mental work as well.

3️⃣Self-education is good, a qualified mentor who has accomplished what you want to do is better!

4️⃣Quick fixes do not produce lasting results.

5️⃣You must put in the work.

6️⃣Be careful of your time and your priorities.

7️⃣Carefully choose who you spend your time with.

8️⃣Be honest with yourself.

9️⃣Doing efficient and effective workouts for your body is more important than the time spent on workouts.

I can’t even tell you how tired I am of all the Instagram influencers who have no experience or clue what they’re talking about telling you that you should drink apple cider vinegar for 3 days, go on a detox or lose 10 lbs on a “quick diet.” ⁣

First of all, by its very definition, a quick diet literally means it just happens automatically with no effort. ⁣

❌And we all know that what’s actually going to happen is that you’re only losing water weight and when you go back to your “real life” you will gain all the lbs back and then some….

Not only are these influencers lying to you but they are also doing TERRIBLE things to your self-esteem, your relationship with food, your body and how you’re modeling eating for your kids.

🍔Being a fit person should include eating real food.
🧁Enjoying treats in moderation
🚴‍♀️Being a fit person should include regularly moving your body (not just when the time is right)
💝Having a healthy relationship with your body
🤩Being confident in your choices and your abilities
👩‍👧‍👧Modeling all of this for your children and grandchildren

You should have a plan that works for the short term AND for the long term.
➡️93% of people who lose weight gain it back because they don’t learn the tools, strategies and habits and mindset it takes to sustain it throughout their lifespan.

This is not sexy…but it’s true!

Success rates come from doing the simple, real work day in and day out. You want to listen to someone who is honest and real with you.

If it looks too good to be true…it probably is.

Meet Nirit Roddy

Nirit is a certified trainer and nutritionist, with a background as a classroom teacher and a Masters degree in Education. She’s also a wife and a mom of 2 school-age boys -- who are a primary source of motivation and inspiration for her.

Nirit’s approach to health and wellness comes from an authentic need to manage her own health. Growing up, Nirit was “not a thin kid”, nor was she particularly athletic. In 2008, she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which can cause weight gain and other serious health complications. It’s a real everyday, lifetime struggle for Nirit to stay positive and healthy -- which can be challenging as a busy mom with a career. She wants to be there for her family, and enjoy her life with them.

Along the way, she’s found ways that help her progress over time and change her mindset. Maintaining a consistent routine AND having a trusted source of support helps keep her going from day to day. She’s found that this long-term approach works for her clients as well.

Being a mom motivates Nirit to be a strong role model for her kids. She wants to show them that anyone can make changes in their lives; that YOU can be physically strong, and YOU can be healthy. It’s this motivation that makes Nirit such an effective coach for her clients.
