That nagging feeling that something's not quite right with your teenager...

You know the one. When other parents are complaining about "normal" teen stuff, but what you're seeing feels... different. Trust that feeling.

Your teen used to:
💟 Hang out with friends
💟 Care about school/work
💟 Talk to family
💟 Take care of themselves
💟 Make sense when they talked

Now they:
❌ Stay in their room constantly
❌ Neglect their school work and their grades are tanking
❌ Won't talk to anyone
❌ Ignore their personal hygiene
❌ Say things that worry you

Here's what every parent should know: First episode psychosis affects 100,000 young people every year. It's not rare. It’s not your fault. And most importantly: it's treatable when caught early.

Early help = 70-80% improvement rate. Waiting too long = only 20-30% improvement.

The difference? Acting on that parental instinct now at the First Sign of changes.

You're not overreacting. You're being a good parent.

SHARE if you think other parents need to see this 💙

Taking the first step into joining a caregiver support group can feel daunting, but for many, it’s life-changing. You’ll meet others who’ve faced the same challenges, hear advice from people who truly understand, and most importantly, realize you’re not alone.

Your first meeting might include heartfelt stories, helpful tips, and a warm welcome into a community that "gets it." It’s a chance to share, learn, and connect in ways that make your caregiving journey a little easier.

Explore caregiver support groups through the Trualta caregiver resource portal: https://trualta.link/44t63U7
