When Debbie Smith couldn’t shake a summer cough, she never imagined it would lead to a lung cancer diagnosis. Thanks to a low-dose CT scan and her doctor’s persistence, Debbie caught cancer early, quit smoking after 45 years, and underwent life-saving surgery.
