Mayfield’s brain tumor team now offers patients access to the full complement of treatments for brain cancers – surgery, radiosurgery and medical therapy such as chemotherapy and biologics – and could lead to more clinical trials to advance treatment in the years to come. “As a fluid, multi-functional Brain Tumor Institute, we have the ability to adapt depending on a patient’s specific pathology,” neuro-oncologist Dr. Richard Curry says. “We can take the fragmentation out of the equation and concentrate on each individual patient.” https://mayfieldclinicblog.com/neuro-oncology-gives-mayfield-four-pillars-of-brain-tumor-treatment-and-research/ The AANS CNS Joint Section on Tumors

Dave woke up in the intensive care unit and thought he felt normal. “I was kind of like, ‘I’m fine. What’s all the hubbub about?’” he recalls. All the hubbub had started that morning, when Dave suffered a while at church. The quick response likely prevented any lasting damage. Read Dave’s story. https://mayfieldclinic.com/mc_hope/story-dave-dr-robinson.htm Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati American Heart Association
