Training Course Description:
There is a growing interest among patients and physicians in Acupuncture and Moxibustion as a treatment modality. However physicians have little or no training in either the science or practice of this healing approach. This training course provides practical, hands-on training in acupuncture & moxibustion. The training program is designed to bring Traditional/Eastern views of health and disease into a results-oriented acupuncture & moxibustion style. Strong emphasis is given/placed on developing a treatment plan for the diseases where acupuncture & moxibustion method of treatment is very effective. Trainees will learn about the application and involvement of medical Acupuncture & Moxibustion techniques in health related problems. The educational portion of the course will focus on bridging the gap between acupuncture practice and science.
DR. Khan has taught acupuncture both in the country and abroad since several years, his theoretical knowledge and vast clinical and teaching experience will provide the highest quality instruction to the trainees.

Entry requirements:
BHMS / BUMS / BAMS / DHMS / DUMS / DAMS / Graduate / Diploma Physiotherapist etc. However, a medical assistant / paramedics can also be enroll in the training programme to serve as an associate Acupuncturist / Acupuncture doctor.

HE HAD PAINFUL SYNDROME.
Do u know "Govt. Unani-Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital, affiliated to the University of Dhaka is the only Govt. level organisation where "ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT SERVICE" facility is available ? This is the first medical college hospital where "ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT SERVICE" is given to the patients. There are no other govt. hospital available in country till yet, which has offering this service.
