Chest, shoulders and HIIT today was straight 🔥🔥

It isn’t about burning those calories it is about getting stronger, building muscle and bone density.

I used to be all about seeing how many calories I could burn after each workout .. and if I didn’t burn very many calories then I felt like I didn’t work hard enough.
Training with has definitely made me realize that is not what it is about

I have become such a better athlete and have become so much more mindful about my workouts and WHY I workout!

Core Tabata work at the end of a chest/core day was just what I needed. 4 rounds of these moves 20 secs on with 10 secs off was brutal .. I love getting challenged by my trainer .

If you are looking for challenging workouts that are not made only for muscle growth but also longevity and bone density then she is your girl! I have never felt more challenged with her workouts, and to top it off she is very entertaining and has the best music to push you through your workouts. Plus she is VERY knowledgeable about nutrition and anything fitness related to your body.

Spent the most magical week in Mexico celebrating my 50th birthday.. could not have asked for a better way to spend my birthday week. The weather and resort was beyond perfect☀️☀️ and swimming with the dolphins was the icing on the cake. Cannot wait to go back
