I am dropping in your feed today to acknowledge a few things.
1. Happy New Year!
Things may not feel so happy right now but I think it’s very important we acknowledge and nurture the joy where we can find it. I have not posted as I have taken some time to recover after a rough start to the new year. I know we may all be feeling the pressures lately. When I feel this kind of tension I know it’s crucial that we are all taking care of ourselves the best we can and find our safe spaces. For me lately thats crochet, my husband, my cats, my friends and my office space.
2. Valentine’s Day is coming up quickly. If you are looking to indulge in side by side treatment with your partner look no further. I will be posting information on Couples Massage availability this week. Limited spots will be available to book and this only happens once a year for Valentines. You wont want to miss this opportunity. I will be working side by side with the love of my life to provide a wonderfully loving ritual experience to all of you.
3. Stress is running high right now, and our bodies feel it — rampant sickness, holding tension, shifting sleep, and some of us working overtime to stay balanced. Whatever the case is I want to remind you one of the most rebellious and crucial actions we can take is to take care of our nervous systems and physical bodies. When we do this we can show up in the world in healthy enjoyable ways for ourselves and others.
Regular massage really does help me. It eases tension, supports your nervous system, improves circulation, and even gives your body a boost to fight off illness before it shows up. Over time, keeping up with sessions helps your system recover more easily and stay resilient, no matter what the week , month or year throws at you.
