Meet the Team!
One of the best parts of the VIP experience at Sirota Medical, PLLC is our small but exceptional team. We’ve been together since the very beginning, and we’re proud to create a welcoming, supportive environment for every patient who walks through our doors. From check‑in to check‑out, you’re truly in great hands.

✨ Juliana – Medical Assistant
You’ll be greeted by Juliana’s warm smile the moment you arrive. She has spent the last four years dedicated to her work as a medical assistant. A proud mom to a high‑schooler and an animal lover, Juliana finds real fulfillment in helping patients maintain and improve their health. Her compassion and positivity shine through in every interaction.

✨ Jillian – Office Manager
Jillian brings eight years of medical management experience to our practice. As a busy mom of two who lives right here in the community, she keeps our office running smoothly and efficiently. She loves to sing and has recently discovered a passion for Pilates. Jillian is always ready to help, and she makes it a priority to follow up with patients to ensure they’re feeling their best.

✨ Dr. Harold Sirota – Provider
With thirty‑eight years of medical experience, Dr. Sirota is a trusted and longstanding member of the local community. Following in the footsteps of his late father, he and his siblings have all built successful careers in medicine. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing and traveling with his family. He is a proud grandfather of four — with another grandchild on the way.

Come check out our conveniently located office in Valley Stream and see what we're all about! We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you.

Some of my soda-loving patients are now drinking prebiotic sodas because they taste like soda and are available in typical soda flavors BUT have added fiber and fewer calories and fewer grams of sugar.
Are they worth the hype? Here’s what you need to know.

In 2010, chicken overtook red meat as the most popular meat consumed in the U.S., according to the USDA. One reason is that red meat consumption is considered a risk for heart disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. But is it really? If you love steaks and cheeseburgers, keep reading; my colleague, Dr. Louis Malinow, may have some good news for you.

If you’ve ever experienced plantar fasciitis, you know how painful and debilitating it can be. Check out these tips to help you lower your risk for the condition and treat it at home.

Most of my patients drink caffeinated beverages, which helps protect the heart, enhance cognitive function and improve blood sugar processing. However, most people are unaware of their caffeine intake, and too much can lead to GI issues, muscle tremors, headaches and disordered sleep. Here are some sources of caffeine, beyond the obvious coffee and tea. If you’re concerned about your intake, we can talk about it at your next appointment.

Many of us can relate to German composer and musician Johann Sebastian Bach when he said: “Without my morning coffee, I'm just like a dried-up piece of roast goat."Most of us feel that way because the country seemingly runs on caffeine: 93 percent of Americans consume caffeinated beverages, 75 per...

I encourage my patients to maintain relationships, find hobbies and get involved in the community. A lack of social connections can have a serious effect on your health. In fact, it’s been equated to smoking 15 ci******es a day and has been linked to serious chronic conditions, such as these four.

Do you prefer to stay at home instead of meeting up with friends? Are you a loner who prefers to get lost down rabbit holes online than talk on the phone? Don’t go to church or belong to active social groups? If so, you may be risking your health. Even for the otherwise healthy, lack of social con...
