Tis the season! ( for respiratory illness!)

Many local ER’s are holding admits. 4-8 hour waits. Limited beds available and many on bypass. Many folks are coming to the hospital for respiratory illness that may be treated at urgent care or at home.

Advice from an Urgent Care is if ill, please limit your exposure to others. Wash your hands.

RSV, Mycoplasma pneumonia, Flu A & B are going around. They are seeing dozens of people at urgent cares hourly.

Call your physician for guidance on treating your symptoms if urgent care is not needed.

For those with chronic conditions easily compromised by acute respiratory illness, Indiana HomeCare Northwest can help support you at home, managing symptoms with onsite assessment and collaboration with your physicians. Don’t wait until hospitalization is needed.
