Our 2 year old gelding by The Big Beast shared a 10.1 bullet work with two others on Monday and sold for $70,000 this morning at the TTA sale at Lone Star. We breed 9-10 mares annually and our commitment to breeding AR breds that can compete in open company is strong. The fantastic purses at Oaklawn have generated the interest these horses deserve.
We love the breeding side of this business and unfortunately it is not practical to race all of them. This year we have nine yearlings that we will offer to the market. Fillies by Arabian Lion, Jimmy Creed, Zandon, By My Standards, American Freedom and Caddo River. Colts/geldings by Goldencents, Thousand Words and Caddo River. Look for them on the track in the fall of 2027.

Here we Grow Again! Thoroughbred Breeding Farm in Van Buren, AR is actively seeking an experienced farm hand with experience handling young horses.
Thirty two hour week with on-call duty every other weekend.
Job description includes all expected farm activities and experience with hauling horses a plus. Experience/knowledge of horse medications and administration a big bonus.

Chance -
Chance Given is a non-registered two year old gelding by Mor Spirit o/o Rita’s Fifty Seven. He was born with compression on his spine at C 1 & 3 and displayed some neurological symptoms that apparently resolved as he grew and pressure released. He is chipped and DNA certified but I did not register him believing that racing would be too demanding on him.
He stands for the farrier (trims-not in shoes) and has a good disposition. His current job is companion to whatever horse we are resting/re-habilitating at the moment. Our breeding operation has grown to the point that we can’t invest the time to bring him to his full potential (trial horse, lesson horse, etc).
DOB 3/25/23. 15 hands - 950 lbs +/-
Available for inspection in Crawford County, AR. after providing vet/farrier references.

Run Free beautiful boy❤️. We lost our farm favorite today at the training center in a freak accident. Just starting his racing prep as a two year old in the round pen. If I’ve talked to you about our hopes and dreams in racing, I’ve talked about Homeboy—‘23 Take Me Home Too. He had Arkansas Derby 2026 stamped all over him. Hard loss for all of us!!

Twentytwo made his debut today in the 2nd race at Oaklawn. Proud of his 3rd place finish after getting hit squarely in the face with a huge dirt clod that shut him down momentarily. Lots of heart in this one.
