📢 Important Announcement from Dr. Adam Houg
It is with mixed emotions that I share some news. After more than 2 decades of practicing medicine at Van Wert Family Physicians, I will be leaving the practice at the end of December 2025 to begin a new chapter in Columbus, Ohio.
Van Wert has always been home to me. After residency, I returned here to start my career, and it has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to care for you and your families. My wife Kelly and I have raised our children, Sofi and Sam, in this wonderful community, and we are so grateful for the trust, kindness, and support you’ve shown us through the years.
I want to reassure my patients that you do not need to find a new provider. Our team at Van Wert Family Physicians will be expanding availability with additional days and hours to make sure your care continues without interruption. You will remain in excellent hands.
Serving the people of Van Wert has been an honor and a joy. I will carry countless memories of the relationships we’ve built, and I am sincerely thankful for the opportunity to be part of your lives.
