I am like most of my clients. I despise working out most days and I really do enjoy eating like an as***le. Sleep is an issue sometimes, screen time is an issue sometimes, stress is an issue sometimes, oh, and I like to eat like an as***le.

I’m not one of them trainers/coaches that beat the s**t out of myself or my clients for results. My personal goal right now is to move pain free and be able to lift moderately heavy things.

Today I planned a whole body workout that would have took 1 to 1 1/2 hours I got into my first set and decided today wasn’t the day. However, I was already out here so I took about 20 minutes to practice a loaded Turkish get up. That’s it.

Fitness has to fit our lifestyle. Not the other way around.

Ready for winter and “New Year, New me” We have a few open spots available for private one on one personal training or possibly split the cost and come with a friend. I will meet you right where you are. We will put a plan together based off of your lifestyle, because we want to do this forever. It has to be sustainable or I failed as a trainer/coach. For beginners, my goal is to never be sore. If we are that means we over did it. LESS IS MORE. I promise not to cut your calories and make you do endless hours of cardio. Because why? It’s NOT sustainable. If you want to try a new approach because you’re tired of falling back into the same cycle with yo-yo dieting, high intensity cardio, restrictive diets etc now is the time.

I had the privilege to meet with the St Henry girls basketball coach, volleyball coach and their strength and conditioning coach to take them through my mobility routine.

Most injuries occur at the end of our range of motion. Mobility challenges and strengthens us in that vulnerable position. When done correctly, the outcome is stronger ligaments and tendons in that vulnerable position.

Being able to do a slow, controlled pull-up and dip requires mobility, stability, and strength. It’s a simple result of steady effort and practice.
